Spaghetti and meatballs is a classic Italian-American dish that early Italian immigrants in New York City were the first to make with recipes dating back as far as the 1920s. It features in not one but two of the best mafia films ever; the Godfather and Goodfellas. It’s classic comfort food, perfect for family gatherings. A big plate of spaghetti, a rich tomato sauce and hearty vegan meatballs – you can’t beat it.
