We had friends round last night for poker and food. Marc gave them the option on what to eat and they requested lasagne. It was their first vegan lasagne! Marc makes it using frozen soya mince. The sauce was made with onions, plum tomatoes, fresh herbs from the garden, wine and freshly ground black pepper. The white sauce was a simple Béchamel sauce. He also made a rosemary foccacia and a big green salad with nasturtium flowers. Poker was good – eventually, we had to delay the game and sit in the garden for a bit coz we were so full!
