It’s a beautiful afternoon in the South West of England. The sun is shining, there’s a light breeze and I can’t smell any burning flesh in the air from anyone’s barbeque. Although that is just a matter of time… it is Friday. That reminds me of a story about Morrissey. Once during an open air concert he stopped and said “I can smell burning flesh … and I hope to God it’s human”. I love Morrissey! Here’s a prophetic song for you: Irish Blood, English Heart. The line: “I’ve been dreaming of a time when the English are sick to death of Labour and Tories” seems very apt today given the results of the Bradford by-election . Good on you George! Come on New Labour… we want Old Labour back! Have a good weekend – if anyone is reading this!!!
