I made a batch of rose and cardamom cupcakes for a friend’s birthday picnic we had before going to see Blondie play an open air gig in Bristol. I topped the cakes with redcurrants from the garden. We had vodka jelly too but took too way much food and had to hide a load of it in the bushes while we went to the gig! The cakes all got scoffed though – and the bubbly!
